What to Measure
Your “real inseam” -- or inside leg length -- is the distance between your body where it sits on your bike saddle and the ground.
This will typically be an inch or two longer than the length of your trousers, but you’ll want to measure to be sure.
You’ll use this number on the chart to get a feel for how the different models will fit you.
How to Measure
Gather the tools needed:
- Medium-width hardcover book
- Tape measure
- A wall you can stand against
- A trusted friend or relative
Wearing your regular riding shoes and with your back to the wall, stand with your feet spread so there is about 7 inches between them - this is about the distance apart your feet would be when straddling a bike with your feet on the ground (standover height).
Place a hardcover book against the wall with the spine of the book facing upward. Slide the book upwards towards your groin until it is solidly against your body. This may be a bit awkward, but is way more comfortable -- and safer! -- than trying to ride a bike that is too big.
If you have a buddy helping you, get them to measure from the floor to the top of the book spine while you hold the book in place. If you’re going it alone, carefully hold the book in place and measure from the ground to the top of the book spine.
Made from a layer of aramid and ceramic particles inside the tire under the tread, the Kenda K-Shield integrated tire liner is a line of defense designed to provide extra protection against punctures from thorns, glass, and other small materials.
The simplified drivetrain makes for easy riding and low maintenance. Ideal for new riders or those just looking to cruise.
LED Control Panel
A simplified LED control panel means one click on and one click off, with additional buttons for lights and pedal assistance, and LEDs to indicate battery and assist levels.
Integrated Rear Rack
Attach panniers, platforms, or baskets and let the bike carry your cargo. Or mount a Yepp Maxi child seat and bring your kids along for the ride.
Low-Step Frame Design
Featuring a 16.5" stand over height, this ebike is perfect for those needing a more approachable package without sacrificing features or functionality.
Rigid Front Fork
Stable and responsive, the rigid fork provides ultimate control when cruising around town.
High rise aluminum handlebars allow adjustment to support various arm lengths and a more laid back riding position.
Dual Leg Kickstand
Increased stability when loading cargo or when passengers jump on the rear.
750W Bafang Geared Hub Motor
80 Nm of torque to conquer hills and power through loose terrain like never before
Twist Grip Throttle
750W of power on-demand.
Integrated Brake Light
Powered using the main battery pack and features brake light functionality that is activated any time the brakes are applied.
Reflective Sidewall Striping
Extremely durable and have a larger total reflective surface and better visibility than traditional spoke mounted reflectors.
Proprietary Passenger Package
Other ebikes with bench-style seats have one thing in common: they offer zero means for the rider to adjust the height of their seat. This means nearly everyone is always pedaling in a poor riding position.
We are changing that in a big way. The RadRunner is the very first ebike or scooter to have an adjustable driver's seat that can either be completely flush with the passenger's seat or adjusted higher like a standard bike.
Keep the seat low so your passenger can snuggle up close or raise the seat up to get proper leg extension while pedaling. You do you.
The Rad Battery Pack
With over a decade of designing and building ebikes under our belts, we know that a high-capacity battery like this isn’t something you cheap out on. We designed and built our batteries using genuine Samsung 35E cells, which are some of the most energy-dense and reliable lithium-ion cells on the market today. These cells have allowed us to build an overall better battery, and at only 7.7 lbs, it's one of the lightest and most energy-dense packs on any electric bike.

Compact, Discreet, Maintenance-Free Hub Motor
With 750W and 80 Nm of torque at your disposal, this Bafang geared hub motor is what is going to help power you up steep inclines and get you up to top speed quickly from a dead stop, all while remaining quiet and inconspicuous. These kinds of numbers aren't even found on some of the most expensive mid drive systems out there, so prepare to outperform and outclass everyone you see on the road.

"This is an incredible electric bike for the money."
I like my Radrunner. Not so thrilled that they marked it down $100 less than 3 weeks after I ordered it and announced the Radrunner Plus. Which comes with everything I paid extra for plus 7 gears, front suspension, backlit display, upgraded headlight.
Asked if they could help soften the blow by giving me one of the upgraded backlit displays. They basically told me tough nuts because I used a promo code to get one of my add-ons for free (the now obsolete older display that they apparently no longer even sell). They offered the promo code for $100 off my "next" Radrunner. Not sure how much I want to do business with a company that won't even honor their prices for 30 days.
I was telling a lot of people about my bike but now I kind of want to tape over the name on the frame so I don't inadvertently advertise the company.
I guess a hundred dollars isn't a lot to a lot of folks, but I live on social security and this bike cost me a little over 10% of my income for the year.
I've already lost weight riding the thing, but I guess I'm not the kind of rad ambassador you're looking for.
I received a complimentary radrunner for honest testing and review purposes.
When I opened the package I was pleased to see that they included a tool kit with everything I would need for assembly.
(nothing worse than having to run to the store before you can use your new toy.) So stoked on that!
I got the seat extension which I highly recommend. Not only is it great for my kids or wife to tag along, but it's nice to be able to slide back on the seat when you're just out for a cruise.
The brakes squeak a bit at the moment, but are super responsive. As frequent beach-goers this bike is PERFECT for me and my family. If you decide to get this bike be prepared to be social. We were stopped and asked by multiple people - "What kind of bike is that!?" I don't blame them... The forest green rad runner (with the seat extension,) is the best looking bike in the lineup. Our friends are getting one so we can cruise together this summer. Love it, Highly recommend it. :)
As a 72 year old male who damaged his back, I thought my days on a bike were over. Since not driving a car for 30 years and depending on the bike, I was worried. But then RadRunner came to the along and now I am able to ride again. I love it. It helps when I need it, but allows for the exercise as well.
Great bike, cool design, awesome accessories, smooth ride. However, I wish it could go little faster and longer.
I am a huge fan of ebikes and have quite wide variety of ebikes in my collection. This bike is defiantly in a category of its own. It gets a lot of compliments. I decided to go for the Forrest green which is a beautiful color. Just makes it that much more unique. The frame and the fat tires absorbs a lot of the bumps and imperfections on roads are almost no problem at all. Again not the same as having suspension but in my opinion it does not need one. Riding it on the road is just wonderful, the tires don’t have a lot of rolling resistance given its width. I decided to add the passenger seat and spend most of my time using the throttle. So far it has been reliable so far. I did make a few errors when I was purchasing some accessories, but the customer service was excellent!
Love the bike. Just went on 13 mile ride and it was wonderful.
its awesome the only thing is that I think the pegs should have been on the bottom of the frame so u dont have to bend ur legs to much there to high up very uuncomfortable
Have had the bike for a couple of weeks but because of the bedlam have okl rides it a few times but what fun! It really is a great ride. Even at a power assist level of one I am able to whip along in flat New Orleans. At level 2 I am really gliding along. Levels 3 and 4 almost make it see like I am going too fast. Everything seems to be working so well. Terrific!
I've been using this bike to get to work everyday. It works great. They really thought of everything utility-wise. The components are super beefy. The combo of the throttle and pedal assist is perfect for a single speed. I've had friends as short as 5' ride it and I'm 6'6" and feel very comfortable too.
I loved it during my first test ride, and I love it everyday on my way to work. Now, my daughter enjoys her new backseat too. It's perfect in every way. Totally changed my routine. Get one!
