The Rugged Space Saver
The new RadMini Step-Thru 2 encompasses so much of our design philosophy: to make bikes that combine power with ease, convenience, and accessibility. With a streamlined throttle design and handlebars that have been upgraded for a more comfortable, ergonomic ride, we’ve taken that mindset to a whole new level.
The RadMini Step-Thru features our lowest standover height of any model. Add to that the adjustable handlebar stem and the most robust folding mechanism ever built, and you've got a remarkably accessible fat tire ebike.
The integrated tire liner is a line of defense designed to provide extra protection against punctures from thorns, glass, and other small materials.
7-Speed, 11-34 Tooth Freewheel
A wider range of gearing at your disposal means more torque for treacherous uphill climbs and maintain pedal authority at top speed.
Front and Rear Fenders
Included front and rear fenders made from durable PVC and stainless-steel hardware help protect you from the elements
Integrated Brake Light
Powered using the main battery pack and features brake light functionality that is activated any time the brakes are applied.
Twist Grip Throttle
750W of power on-demand.
Front Suspension Fork
Our custom Rad Power Bikes RST suspension fork has 60 mm of travel, preload adjustment, and lockout.
The Strongest Hinge Ever Made for a Folding Ebike
Over-built on purpose, the primary folding hinge has multiple safety redundancies to help prevent accidental unlatching and ensure the RadMini Step-Thru feels solid and secure when locked properly.
Featuring a 16" stand over height, this bike is perfect for those needing a more approachable package without sacrificing features or functionality.

What to Measure
Your “real inseam” -- or inside leg length -- is the distance between your body where it sits on your bike saddle and the ground.
This will typically be an inch or two longer than the length of your trousers, but you’ll want to measure to be sure.
You’ll use this number on the chart to get a feel for how the different models will fit you.
How to Measure
Gather the tools needed:
- Medium-width hardcover book
- Tape measure
- A wall you can stand against
- A trusted friend or relative
Wearing your regular riding shoes and with your back to the wall, stand with your feet spread so there is about 7 inches between them - this is about the distance apart your feet would be when straddling a bike with your feet on the ground (standover height).
Place a hardcover book against the wall with the spine of the book facing upward. Slide the book upwards towards your groin until it is solidly against your body. This may be a bit awkward, but is way more comfortable -- and safer! -- than trying to ride a bike that is too big.
If you have a buddy helping you, get them to measure from the floor to the top of the book spine while you hold the book in place. If you’re going it alone, carefully hold the book in place and measure from the ground to the top of the book spine.
A fuel gauge for your electrons.
Pedal Assist Level
The higher the number, the more the motor will boost you when you pedal.
5V, 1 Amp port to charge your phone or portable electronics on the go.
Calculate how many miles you didn't drive this year and how much money you saved on gas.
Can be set to current speed, max speed, or average speed.
Shows how much power the motor is outputting at any given time.
The Rad Battery Pack
With over a decade of designing and building ebikes under our belts, we know that a high-capacity battery like this isn’t something you cheap out on. We designed and built our batteries using genuine Samsung 35E cells, which are some of the most energy-dense and reliable lithium-ion cells on the market today. These cells have allowed us to build an overall better battery, and at only 7.7 lbs, it's one of the lightest and most energy-dense packs on any electric bike.

Compact, Discreet, Maintenance-Free Hub Motor
With 750W and 80 Nm of torque at your disposal, this Bafang geared hub motor is what is going to help power you up steep inclines and get you up to top speed quickly from a dead stop, all while remaining quiet and inconspicuous. These kinds of numbers aren't even found on some of the most expensive mid drive systems out there, so prepare to outperform and outclass everyone you see on the road.

The RadMini 4 is a great option if you want many of the same features as the RadMini Step-Thru but with a mid step frame.
Recently my partner's RadMini was stolen from our garage. We were heartbroken as we had waited all year for the nice weather so we could head out on adventures together. Our replacement arrived in surprisingly little time and we were off again - biking to all the parks (you cant access by car due to COVID parking restrictions), restaurants, and the Ballard Farmers market. This past weekend we were able to bike together to Golden Gardens for a picnic, sunset viewing, and stayed late enough to see the comet Neowise.
This newest RadMini has even more power to get up the Queen Anne hills. We had the back rack installed prior to deliver and with bungees this little bike can carry 2 chairs, a fold up table, and our picnic blanket. Picnicking couldn't be easier!! The front light is so bright we can easily see and be seen late into night.
Thanks for all the excellent and informative service during our order and delivery process!! We'll toast you on our next picnic adventure. (I'd send you a photo of our Radbikes at the beach together at sunset, but there isn't a place to attach a photo :(
I bought the Rad Mini 4 near the end of March. Came fairly quickly. I live the ride especially for me with two bad knees. I love it. My wife rode it twice and said she had to have one . She bought the step thru in May. We are waiting anxiously for it to get delivered. I'm excited too. Poor girl could't keep up on the old mountain bike.
This is the best E-bike! The style, the look and the ride are just COOL! It gives that little extra boost to help in riding, along with a bigger boost, if you wish, while going uphill. It does not, in any way, take the pleasure away from simply riding your bike - it makes it 100 x better!
Outstanding ebike! Love riding it. Great service!
I was surprise that the battery didn't come with a handle.perhaps I'll purchase another one, when there are more colors to choose from. Thank you for fenders. Overall a great bike. The delivery estimate time was horrible., Almost two months. Why on earth that the bike doesn't come full assemble??? Like most companies that have similar bikes???
Great Bike -565 miles so far rode 20.0 miles last night -72 years old -like I'm 16 again -keeps everything moving ----It has five power setting -I usually ride setting 2 that uses about 160 watt --setting three 350 watt and that is all you need --also has a twist throttle for up to 750 watt --with the 20" tire and 80 nm will climb just about anything --max speed is 20 mph then motor shuts down or mutes doesn't let you go faster -although you can pedal faster , it's a 7 speed and I ride in 6-7 gear always--usually ride at 17-18 mph cruise came back from last nights ride of 20 miles and had used 2 bars of charge out of the 5 available --so 40% of battery ---I have the seat post set at max height -I'm 6' tall so it can make it a little squirrley on gravel trails but you figure that out quick---great brakes also-although I only really use the back brake on gravel trails , you can lock them up very easily- con it weighs 69 # so heavy also , thought I'd share my real life experience with it -- very well made bike and one of the best purchases I've made -mine is version one no fenders and I think the tire is just a little wider -having fun now---------------------
During this trying times for everyone I needed a way of transportation from home to work and since do to the precautionary Covid measures that my city ( Seattle ) had taking ,limited occupancy on buses and limited routes service and me having asthma...... I urgently needed a solution.... and fortunately I was able to buy this e bike ....and I have to say that I am very happy with my purchase ... Its a "Great" Bike and I have been enjoying it very much.... I also wanted to Thank there Customer Service Team and Rad Mobile Service as in spite of dealing with the same challenges that we all have in todays world they still manage to go 110% and make things happen ... Good Job guys and Thanks for my RadMini Step-Thru 2
It is so much easier to get on and off than the Rad Rover we got last year. My husband is riding the Rad Rover and he says he loves it.
Makes bike riding fun again!
Had a Rad Mini previously and loved it too. My Step-Thru 2 rides just as well and has an improved headlight and taillight.
